My Story - Behind the Brand

 

 

ELME began with my own skin.

 

I never set out to create a skincare brand.

ELME began during a time when I was struggling with my own skin. Like so many people, I thought the answer was to fight it — stronger products, more actives, more treatments, more of whatever promised to make it better.

Instead, my skin became overwhelmed.

I had damaged my skin barrier trying so hard to “fix” it, and I reached a point where I realised I needed to stop fighting my skin and start listening to it.

That changed everything.

I began looking at skincare differently — searching for a gentler, more considered approach that would nourish and support my skin rather than constantly stripping, drying or overwhelming it.

And slowly, the idea for ELME began.

I wanted to create what I had been searching for.

Skincare that felt simple.

Skincare made with beautiful, thoughtfully chosen ingredients.

Skincare for the person who has tried everything, whose skin can feel unpredictable, and who is exhausted by being told they need another product to “fix” themselves.

Because I’ve been that person.

ELME was created from that experience — and from the belief that caring for our skin can be about so much more than how we look.

It can be the few quiet minutes we take for ourselves in the morning. The ritual at the end of a long day. The confidence to leave the house bare-faced. The decision to work with our skin instead of against it.

Beyond Skin Deep.

Over the years, ELME has grown alongside me, and so has my understanding of what it means to truly care for ourselves.

I’ve come to believe that skin doesn’t exist in isolation. What we put on it matters, but so does how we nourish ourselves, how we live, how we feel and the small choices we make every day.

That’s why ELME has become about something bigger than skincare.

It’s about returning to simple. Being intentional about what we put on our bodies. Celebrating real skin in all of its seasons. And creating little rituals that remind us to care for ourselves, too.

What started with my own skin has now become something I get to share with yours.

And that will never stop feeling special.
